About Me
Hi, I’m Morgan! I love to tutor because there is something very rewarding about helping other people achieve their goals and being
able to see them grow in different subjects. It is extremely gratifying seeing other people build a passion for their interests like I
have over the years. I have developed a passion for Creative Writing, as it is currently my major at Chapman University. In my
spare time, I also enjoy playing basketball, going to the gym, listening to music, hanging out with friends, writing poetry, swimming,
or going out to eat good food. In tutoring, I hope to aid in student’s creation of passion and interest of different subjects through a
compassionate and motivating way of teaching.

-Principal's List all four years of High School and graduated with a 4.3 GPA -Elected as Poet Laureate for Christopher High Class of 2023 -Passed five AP tests (AP Language, AP Literature, AP US History, AP World History, AP Economics) -Received Rotary Scholarship -Accepted into multiple prestigious universities including UC Berkeley
Tutoring Experience
-Taught English and Math to students K-12 at Kumon Learning Center for 8 months in 2021. I also graded papers and packets and helped walk students through problems and readings. -I was TA (Teacher's Assistant) Senior Year (2022-2023) and I helped teachers with different tasks like grading, handing out passes, or organizing files.
Philanthropy / Volunteering Experience
-Member of Gilroy Foundation Youth Board for three years which provides grants for community organizations -Aided in Gilroy Assistance League yearly Home Tours -Worked with Saint Joseph's Compassion Center by packaging food for the homeless -Set up Christmas decorations at Rebecca's Children's Center -Assisted with scoreboard for Gilroy High Volleyball and Basketball games. -Taught students at Kumon Learning Center
