Can We Positively Impact?

By earmarking a portion of net proceeds from every tutoring hour to provide free tutoring for students experiencing homelessness, we can maximize our impact to help all students succeed.

We’ve donated to provide innovative grants for public school teachers & support school programs through the Tustin Public Schools Foundation, which serves over 23,000 students in 28 schools in the district. Tustin Public Schools Foundation We’ve donated to provide tutoring hours to students living in shelters, motels, vehicles, group foster homes, & on the streets of Southern California through Schools on Wheels. Schools on Wheels We launched an initiative to provide free tutoring to youth supported by Illumination Foundation, a nonprofit with a mission to disrupt the cycle of homelessness through healthcare, housing, & other services. Illumination Foundation We established a partnership with SAHARA, a nonprofit that supports survivors of abuse in the South Asian communities in Southern California, to provide their students & adult learners who experience homelessness access to free, 1:1 tutoring. SAHARA We’ve donated to help youth prepare for high school graduation & college enrollment through the Boys & Girls Club of Central Orange Coast, which serves over 8,500 children in Orange County. Boys & Girls Club of Central Orange Coast We’ve donated to provide mentor hours to ACT & SAT students from low-income backgrounds through CollegeSpring. CollegeSpring We’ve donated to provide online tutoring hours to underserved students through the Learn to Be Foundation. Learn to Be Foundation We’ve provided free high school & college prep summer classes to students at Samueli Academy & offered summer grants to ensure that any student who wished to attend was able to do so. Samueli Academy We’ve provided free K-8 English/language arts & writing classes and we've matched 50 free tutoring hours to the Boys & Girls Club of Long Beach to help students get ahead. Boys & Girls Club of Long Beach We’ve donated to Khan Academy, whose mission is to provide a free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere. Khan Academy We’ve provided a free college admissions workshop with a Harvard-trained, college admissions expert for Samueli Academy & Tustin High School students. Samueli Academy & Tustin High School While schools were closed during COVID-19, we offered free online office hours to students in English/language arts, math, & science to combat learning loss. We encourage nonprofits across the country to apply to be an MPP Give-Back partner, which would provide their youth experiencing homelessness & in long-term foster care with free, 1:1 tutoring . My Private Professor
