We earmark 10% of the net proceeds from each tutoring hour to provide educational resources for students experiencing homelessness.

We then partner with nonprofits to provide their youth living in emergency shelters & programs with access to free tutoring hours.

After graduating from UC Berkeley School of Law & practicing business litigation for many years, Sona Shah shifted gears to create a sustainable business model that leverages innovation & social responsibility to increase access to educational support for all.

From carving a niche in the employee benefits space by providing tutoring to support employees & families of national & local businesses, to sponsoring tutoring for students experiencing homelessness in partnership with nonprofits, My Private Professor is leading the charge to inspire & empower today’s students to achieve their greatest potential & lead tomorrow’s world.
