About Me
I love tutoring because it is such a joyous feeling watching a student go from being frustrated with a subject to enjoying it. Not everyone has the resources to succeed in their classes, but everyone deserves them. Even if I can help just a little, I would be happy.
As for a little bit more about me, I am an undergraduate student at UC San Diego planning to major in microbiology. In my free time, I like to read and hang out with my friends.

Academic Accolades
In April of 2022, a team of my peers and I won first place in the Video Competition for the High School BioEngineering Competition at UC Berkeley for our invention of a needleless jet injector for vaccines. I graduated high school with a class rank of 4 and a weighted GPA of 4.45. I earned 3 AP Scholar awards and passed 13 AP exams. I worked as a teaching assistant at Kumon for 2 years, primarily with younger children.
Tutoring Experience
I worked as a teaching assistant at Kumon for my junior and senior years of high school, primarily working with younger children between ages 3 and 8. During this time, I taught math from counting up to fractions, phonetics, spelling, and grammar while also demonstrating good classroom etiquette and habits. I was a TA for an AP Calculus class during my senior year. In addition, I would help friends and neighbors with their homework both in person and remotely.
Philanthropy / Volunteering Experience
I volunteered at Kaleidoscope Cancer Connection in Bryon, CA by creating personalized Bags of Hope for cancer patients and their families and beautifying their garden for events. For 9 years, I served as an Altar Server at my local church helping the mass run smoothly and eventually teaching younger servers. In addition, I interned with a local mobile country vet and assisted with spays and neuters by controlling the anesthesia, administering vaccines, and preparing the patients for surgery.
