About Me

I have always loved learning and I’m passionate about sharing that love with others. I believe that learning can (and should) be
engaging and fun, which is why I founded my nonprofit and why I enjoy tutoring. When I’m not studying or running my nonprofit, I
love spending time with my friends and family, reading (fantasy and science fiction are my favorite genres), and crafting.

Academic Accolades

Dean's Honors List and currently have a 4.0 GPA as an Honors University student at UC Riverside. Received 5 on following AP courses: AP English Language and Composition, AP Psychology, AP Environmental Science, AP Chemistry, and AP Calculus AB/BC. Received 4 on following AP courses: AP Physics 1 and AP Human Geography. I am the co-founder, CFO, and Head of Curriculum at STEMz Learning, a nonprofit that seeks to increase accessibility to engaging STEM curriculum for elementary school students.

Tutoring Experience

I taught several online STEM classes for my nonprofit, STEMz Learning, before transitioning fully to curriculum development. When developing curriculum, I make sure that there are plenty of discussion questions and activities to keep kids engaged, especially with topics that are difficult to understand. In high school, I participated in a peer math tutoring program where I tutored other high schoolers in complex math topics for three years. Additionally, I acted as a tutor/babysitter for young children in the summer of 2022.

Philanthropy / Volunteering Experience

I co-founded STEMz Learning, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing the accessibility of complex STEM topics for elementary school students. I am currently the CFO and Head of Curriculum. I manage around 10 volunteers in developing new curriculum by leading them through researching a topic and making the topic easily digestible for young students. Through my nonprofit, I am able to share my love of STEM with younger students and provide them resources to explore their interests and allow their curiosity to flourish. For my work in STEMz Learning, I was awarded the Ose Family Community Service Award and Girl Scout Gold Award in 2022.
