As sites like edX and Coursera and programs that offer online degrees become more popular, I am extremely curious about the potential transition from live, in-person education to online education in the future. In high school, I was a member of the California Scholarship Federation where I sign up for volunteer gigs throughout the school year. I was also a member of the Tri-Valley Youth Music Ensemble, where we, a small group of musicians, perform at senior centers.
