About Me
My name is Sierra Baldwin and I am a physics major and Honors student at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC. I love tutoring because I want to help underprivileged students gain access to and confidence in higher education, especially in STEM fields like math and physics. I also play college softball for my university and enjoy reading in my spare time.

Academic Accolades

Tutoring Experience
I have been tutoring and assisting fellow classmates informally my entire life, including the SAT and classroom coursework. I have also volunteered with NCAT's SAAEP (Student-Athlete Academic Excellence Program) to assist fellow student-athletes with mathematics (particularly Calculus III).
Philanthropy / Volunteering Experience
As a member of the NCAT Honors College, I've been a part of several community service walks and food drives. Additionally, I've had the privilege of working with the NCAT softball team to organize community outreach events to help underprivileged students find a positive outlet and path to higher education.
Dave Harris –
Sierra did a great job reviewing Algebra problems without giving the answers away. She would stop my son’s work and question why he was doing the problem that way. It made him think and rationalize the problem. Then provided positive feedback when he got the problem right without assistance.
