More About Me
I had a tutor to help me through the ACT process, and without her I would not have gotten the score I did. For many families, especially those that are low-income, they do not have access to the same opportunity I did. So, I would love to lend my services to these families.
Undergraduate University: University of Chicago
Year of Graduation: 2021
Majors/Minors/Specialization: B.A. in Political Science and Psychology
Year of Graduation:
I received the Dean's List at the end of my first year at UChicago, and am on track to receive it again for this upcoming year. My ACT score was a 33, 34 when composited. My GPA is 3.61.
I spent a quarter teaching various art projects to kids in different grades in elementary school. I have also had extensive experience helping tutor my four younger siblings as they went through elementary, middle, and high school. I am most confident in my abilities to tutor those in elementary school (all subjects), and those who are prepping for the ACT.
Philanthropy / Volunteering Experience
All throughout high school, I spent my time volunteering at a place called Sacred Heart Community Service, where I serviced low-income or homeless patrons through various means. I sorted and packaged food, I collected and assembled supplies, and I collected many donations from family members to give to the organization as well.
