About Me
Hello everyone! I am a Biological Sciences Major at UCI. I have been teaching dance, marching band techniques, biology, and more since my sophomore year of high school. I really like tutoring because not only do I get to meet new people, but I also get to help them understand a variety of topics and hopefully develop a passion they can pursue in the future. After graduating, I am planning to go to medical school to become a pediatrician while doing research on the side. Currently, I am doing research in a lab that focuses on bacterial defenses against medicine. As for my hobbies, I am an avid dancer, I love going to the beach, and I also love baking!

Academic Accolades
- Campus-wide Honors Collegium, a selective organization in UCI that provides accelerated honors classes, opportunities to develop one’s leadership, and graduate with honors.
- Dr. Albert Siryaporn’s lab at UCI: analyzing the effects of various antimicrobial agents on Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, while overseeing the impact of dopamine on those said effects.
- Human Biology Club: Mentored elementary students from underprivileged areas, teaching them biology to promote health and inspire future interest. Interned for the Outreach Chairs to ensure smooth operations. Over the summer, I mentored high school students on the research process, culminating in a successful symposium.

Tutoring Experience
- Kathak mentor: Taught elementary and middle school level students Indian classical dance over Zoom.
- Chemistry TA: Graded lab reports and tests from Chemistry honors and AP chemistry students and left valuable feedback due to having taken these classes before. Held review sessions for students to do well on tests.
- National Spanish Honor Society (2022- 2023): Tutored students learning Spanish.
- Human Biology Club Outreach Program Mentor: Educated elementary and middle school students about topics related to biology.
- Next Generation Scientists: Mentored high school students regarding the process of conducting research.
Philanthropy / Volunteering Experience
- UCI Medical Center Volunteer: Conducted basic medical procedures and shadowed doctors through this competitive program.
