About Me
Hello everyone! I am going into my 2nd year as a Biological Sciences Major at UCI. I have been teaching dance, marching band techniques, biology, and more since my sophomore year of high school. I really like tutoring because not only do I get to meet new people, but I also get to help them understand a variety of topics, and hopefully develop a passion they can pursue in the future. After graduating, I am planning to go to medical school to become a pediatrician, while doing research on the side. Currently, though, I am doing research in a lab that focuses on bacterial defenses against medicine. As for my hobbies, I am an avid dancer, I love going to the beach, and I also love baking!

Academic Accolades
- Currently a part of Campuswide Honors Collegium, a selective organization in UCI that provides accelerated honors classes to take, opportunities to develop one’s leadership, and graduate with honors.
- Part of Dr. Albert Siryaporn’s lab at UCI. My job is to Analyze the effects of various antimicrobial agents on Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, while overseeing the impact of dopamine on those said effects.
- Human Biology club. Human Biology Club: Mentored elementary students from underprivileged areas, teaching them biology to promote health and inspire future interest. Interned for the Outreach Chairs to ensure smooth operations. Over the summer, I mentored high school students on the research process, culminating in a successful symposium.

Tutoring Experience
- Kathak mentor: 2021 – current. Teach elementary and middle school level students Indian classical dance over zoom.
- Marching Band Drill Instructor: 2021. Taught a set of 5 freshman students how to march while holding a clarinet for five weeks during the marching season.
- Chemistry TA: 2022 – 2023. Graded lab reports and tests from Chemistry honors and AP chemistry students, left valuable feedback due to having taken these classes before. Held review sessions for students to do well on tests.
- National Spanish Honor Society: 2022- 2023. Tutored students learning Spanish.
- Human Biology Club Outreach Program Mentor : Educated elementary and middle school students about topics related to biology.
- Intern: Led the logistics of the Outreach program, and guided other mentors through the program.
- Next Generation Scientists: Mentored high school students regarding the process of conducting research. Culminated in a successful symposium at the end of the program.
Philanthropy / Volunteering Experience
- UCI Medical Center Volunteer: Conducted basic medical procedures and shadowed doctors through this competitive program.

- Senior Kathak student of California Nupur Dance Academy, San Jose.
- Kathak Mentor : Taught dance to a batch of junior level Kathak students (ages 6-10) over zoom. My teacher independently gave me this responsibility based on my methods of teaching/communication.
