About Me

I am a motivated and detail-oriented student at UC Irvine with strong interests in nursing and education. Over the past few years, I have developed a passion for working with others, whether through volunteering in hospitals, serving the community through College Corps, or supporting peers in academic and extracurricular settings. I enjoy creating supportive learning environments and am committed to helping others succeed. My background in leadership, service, and academics has strengthened my communication, organization, and teamwork skills, which I hope to bring to the MPP Team.

Tutoring Experience

I have gained valuable tutoring and teaching experience through both formal and informal roles. At UC Irvine, I have helped peers in subjects such as biology, chemistry, and writing by breaking down complex concepts into simpler terms and creating study strategies that fit their learning styles. I also have experience working with younger students through volunteer programs, where I assisted with homework help, reading comprehension, and test preparation. These opportunities have strengthened my ability to adapt to different learning needs, remain patient, and encourage students to build confidence in their academic abilities.

  • Hospital Volunteering – Assisted patients, families, and staff during weekend shifts, gaining experience in patient care settings.
  • Senior Center Outreach – Volunteered through student clubs to organize workshops, host guest speakers, and build intergenerational connections.
  • Mental Health Awareness Initiatives – Promoted wellness and reduced stigma by helping organize events, resource fairs, and community discussions.
  • Teddy Bear Hospital (UCI Club) – Participated in outreach events teaching children about healthcare in a fun, approachable way.
