About Me

I am passionate about helping students achieve their full potential. Growing up, test taking and STEM subjects were difficult for me. Tutoring Experience

I am a certified Level 2 Mathnasium instructor, and I have professionally tutored for over two years. I instructed up to five children at a time in various levels of mathematics, from kindergarten-level to Pre-Calculus. In addition, I obtained a Level 2 Mathnasium certification, signifying my ability to provide constructive and receptive instruction. Specifically, I aided special needs learning, including students with Autism Spectrum and Auditory Processing Disorder, which bolstered my communication and organizational skills while also serving to further ignite my desire to create equal-access spaces for all individuals. I taught during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, which allowed me to pioneer online learning, as well as to gain experience in all forms of tutoring—fully in person, hybrid, and remote.

Philanthropy / Volunteering Experience

In High School, I was a part of the National Honors Society, and as such, I completed over 30 hours of community service a year. I did so through a variety of services, including volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, acting as a teen volunteer for my local libraries, and providing free Chemistry, Biology, and Math tutoring to students at my High School. As part of the Kappa Alpha Pi Pre-Law Fraternity at UCLA, I complete several philanthropy events per quarter, ranging from beach clean-ups to letter writing campaigns in support of mental health programs. I am passionate about giving back to the community, and always looking for ways that I can use my skills to help others.
