I love to tutor because I love revealing the preexisting capacity to succeed within each student. Everyone already has the ability to answer a question, pursue a career, or write an essay. I just enjoy working with students to access that ability, discover that career, and unveil the skills and authorial voice to write that essay. Aside from education, my interests and hobbies include gymnastics and cheerleading.

America Reads In-Class Tutor since Fall 2018 (working with 6th-9th grade students one-on-one and in small groups to reinforce/reteach the primary teacher's lessons); Freelance tutor to elementary school students. I have worked with students with Dyslexia, IEPs, and students who were English Language Learners.
Philanthropy / Volunteering Experience
I have volunteered for 3 years with New York City's community organization, HFS Elevate. Elevate is geared towards engaging inner-city teens in recreational activities to combat the prevalence of gun violence in their communities. I have worked with Elevate on organizing youth conferences, leading small group discussions, and organizing a yearly basketball tournament during the summertime.
