More About Me
I love to tutor because I love being able to help students not only understand the basics, but go beyond that and help them understand the details and reasons behind things. I am a big STEM person, which is not to say I don’t like language arts! I just have a very math and science oriented brain which has lead me to pursue a medical career. Aside from schooling and learning, I love to hike, run and do yoga!

I was an after school tutor in high school to fellow students predominately in chemistry, biology and precalculus. I also was apart of a program that provided daily support to struggling student. Senior year of high school I was a teaching assistant in AP micro and macroeconomics. I also tutored elementary school aged students through a non-profit, Kids Helping Kids.
Philanthropy / Volunteering Experience
During my senior year of high school was the Chief Operating Officer for a student run non-profit organization, Kids Helping Kids, which originated from my AP economics class. COO was an especially challenging position due to its wide range of responsibilities, including the coordination, organization, and execution of all fundraising events. Additionally, I was apart of an organization whose main philanthropy was Make-A-Wish foundation. We raised money for them through various fun community activities. Also this summer I am set to be a volunteer at the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.
