My first passion is reading! I love to read and often find myself carrying a book in my purse or backpack “just in case”! I also love knitting. I find this to be a very relaxing, zen-like hobby as it is the same repetitive motion over and over and yet at the end I have a beautiful hat or scarf I can now wear or gift to someone else. I love the opportunity to tutor, especially online, because it gives me so many chances to meet and get to know all kinds of people. I thrive in bringing new information to those who are seeking it and I love to see the “Ah HA!” moment in my students when they finally understand a concept that had been hard for them.
