I am currently a 3rd year medical student at Mount Sinai and graduate of the Columbia University Premed Program. At Columbia, I served as a chemistry TA and lead tutor at the Academic Resource Center, where I won 2 tutoring awards. As a chemistry TA at Columbia, I both taught sections of 10 students each and held open office hours in which I would instruct 10-20 students in the weekly material. At the academic resource center, I helped students navigate the premed curriculum and tutored all the premed subjects. I was certified as a College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) Level II tutor and this enabled me to train other tutors. In addition to the premed curriculum, I have extensive experience tutoring standardized test prep including SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests, SSAT, SHSAT, ISEE, GRE, GMAT and numerous other tests with students ranging from elementary school to graduate school.
