More About Me
My main hobbies include dancing, singing, and playing my ukulele. My interest in tutoring sprouts from my interest in stage directing. I understand the principle of being a good role model while working in a team setting.

Throughout high school I maintained a 4.4 GPA on a 5 point scale. I was an AP scholar and IB student who was locally recognized for my 1450 SAT score. I was a student director who advocated for equal opportunity casting, and even did work with the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. I am a recipient of the Georgia Biliteracy Seal for proficiency in both Spanish and English. Additionally, I was a recipient of a Delta Sigma Theta scholarship that continues to fund my education. Since college I have continued my work in theatre while maintaining my scholarship and giving back to my community.
Through Spanish Honor Society, I served as a tutor for high school aged students in ESOL classes. I also received county certification to interpret and translate for parent teacher conferences at local elementary schools. Previously I served as an improv captain, an acting coach of sorts, who aided younger students in their theatrical pursuits. When serving as a babysitter I was tasked with teaching young students who often had problems paying attention for extended periods of time. As a tutor and director, I believe that everyone has their own individualized approach to education. The acquisition of knowledge shouldn't be daunting, so I try to ensure that everyone I work with feels comfortable and happy when learning.
Philanthropy / Volunteering Experience
I have volunteered as a translator and interpreter and also took unpaid directing jobs at community theatres.
