More About Me

I love tutoring because I love to see progress being made with learning! Education is so important and tutoring is a great way for students to receive 1:1 time to focus on the concepts they need more help on. I strongly believe tutor sessions should be a safe space to ask questions!

Hobbies include playing the guitar, going to spin class, reading, and going on walks around the city I live in.

Tutoring Experience

Women in Science Engineering is a volunteer organization that brings local 4th and 5th grade girls to SMU's campus once a month for science experiment days. These WISE days are led by SMU students. As President, I helped our organization prepare and teach the students about various science topics. I helped fellow classmates in subjects such as cell biology, anatomy and physiology, introductory biology, psychology, and sociology.

Philanthropy / Volunteering Experience

I worked with a special needs program throughout high school and served as a camp counselor during the summer of 2019 in Wisconsin. That sleep-away camp was integrating the program for the first year, so I had the opportunity to welcome staff and campers with special needs to the camp environment for their first time!
