About Me

I’m deeply invested in music, specifically the guitar, vocal, and the piano. I love to just play the guitar and sing inside my room, and I even try to write my own songs.

I am a huge coffee and matcha enthusiast, so anything related to coffee and matcha is my favorite conversation topic. I’m a big foodie as well, so I would be down for midnight snacks and spontaneous food trips.

Tutoring Experience

I went to an international school in Korea my whole academic career, and I worked as a tutor for all of my high school career both remote and in-person. I love the smiles and lightbulb moments of my students, and such valuable interactions spark my passion in tutoring.

I taught a wide spectrum subjects, starting from fractions and multiplication to high school calculus and biology. I mainly worked with students who requested support to the school or those whose teachers requested academic help.

Interacting with many types of students, I gained social flexibility and tutoring skills that focuses on personalizing students’ experience and creating study plans that are specific to each student.

I also worked in an academy in Seoul as an office assistant, and I directly supported the teachers through organization as well as helping students with their homework.

Philanthropy / Volunteering Experience

Throughout my high school experience, I was a voluntary tutor for 4 years, specifically focusing on international students who needed help with STEM subjects such as math and science. I also worked in my international school as a voluntary tutor for students who requested academic support for various subjects. I’ve interacted with countless students, and I was able to help students ace their tests and homework assignments.

I further taught advanced topics during my lessons to widen students’ intellectual insight and knowledge. Seeing their lightbulb moments whenever I taught new concepts was truly satisfying, and I simply enjoyed talking to new people.
