More About Me
Science isn’t just my job as a researcher – it’s my lifelong passion. So is educational equity. I love to help students break down academia institutional barriers, gain access to science, and feel empowered in the learning process. Science is meant for every mind, and I’m passionate about helping students open the door into the scientific and academic world and see just how fun and exciting are the different scientific fields.
Outside of the laboratory/scientific setting, I tutor high school students in writing and critical thinking to help them gain access to higher education and find the resources they need and deserve for lasting success. I also mentor high school and undergraduate students in the laboratory setting, where we work on both technical and soft skills while learning core concepts. In the rest of my free time, I enjoy reading, visiting museums, baking, and plenty of time spent outdoors/surrounded by nature.
