My heart is heavy. I have found myself at a loss for words. Words do not do justice to describe the injustice.

From the horrific murders of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, & so many more of our Black brothers & sisters whose precious lives were tragically cut short, to the more insidious ways that we as a society keep people of color down through inequalities in housing, wealth, income, health care, criminal justice, political power, & education, it is imperative that we stand together & stamp out this pervasive evil. Black Lives Matter. Period.

I have been silent this past week so that I can listen. So that I can learn. I need to do better. We need to do better.

We need to do better to show up with compassion, with empathy, with understanding, with love, with respect, with open minds, with open hearts, & with open arms to authentically see, embrace, & lift up Black communities.

We see you. We hear you. We stand with you. We condemn all acts of racial injustice, hatred, & violence. We are committed to support equality, diversity, & inclusion.

We need to serve as the positive role models that our children, our community, our country, & our world deserve & need more than ever to bring both the humanity & the kindness back into humankind.

Sending you all love. ????????????
